- EARLY YEARS
- USA Today Georgia Player of the Year, Quincy's journey began as a standout quarterback at the age of 9 and an exceptional baseball player at 7.
- Quincy led his high school team to the 1995 AAAA State Championship, becoming the first all-black team to win the Georgia state championship. His high school career included 4,450 passing yards, 37 passing touchdowns, 1,489 rushing yards, and 32 rushing touchdowns.
- Inducted into the Georgia Highschool HOF in 2023.
- COLLEGE YEARS
- At University of Georgia, Quincy was named SEC Freshman of the Year and set a school record for the second-lowest interception percentage in SEC history.
- Named All- SEC twice, Quincy held the SEC's longest streak of consecutive passes without an interception.
- PROFESSIONAL YEARS
- In 2001, Quincy was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys, making history as the first rookie quarterback selected in the second round to start a week one NFL game. He later led the Cowboys to a 10-6 record and eventually the 2003 NFL playoffs. Quincy's NFL journey also included a role with the New York Jets followed by arena ball.
Who We Are
Drafted by the Dallas Cowboys with the 53rd overall pick following a decorated college career at the University of Georgia, Quincy Carter was the first rookie quarterback selected in the second round to start a week 1 game in the history of the NFL. Carter was the third rookie quarterback to open the season as a starter in Cowboys history.
In 2003 Quincy Carter led the Dallas Cowboys to a 10-6 record and the NFL playoffs. He became the fifth quarterback in franchise history to throw for more than 3,000 yards in a season.
Quincy also played for the NY Jets and in the Arena Football League.
In addition to TQCF, Quincy also initiated the QC17 QB training School to impart youth with the tools and intangibles to be an elite quarterback. Through his camp, young men learn how to play the game’s most important position. The right way.
